Areas of work at the SHRI
The Researcher is part of the Research team. The role involves developing the team’s priority areas and also working on various special focus projects for the Institution. The results of the team’s research work are intended to lead to direct policy, legal and social interventions to strengthen human rights in Switzerland.
Education and experience
Judith Kopp (she/her) has been a Researcher and a member of the SHRI’s Research team since February 2025. She leads on the priority area of «Outsourcing of Responsibility for Human Rights». She is a social scientist with a PhD in Political Science from the University of Kassel. Her research work to date has focused in particular on European migration and refugee policy, global inequalities and the regulation of transnational value chains.
